We will then reach the kasbah of AIT BEN HADDOU, one of the most important fortresses located on the ancient VIA DI SALLE, through which nomadic caravans brought slaves, ivory, copper and precious metals to Marrakech from Saharan Africa The kasba or ksar, as it is called in these parts, is a majestic construction, a beautiful sand castle surrounded by beautiful gardens with almond, olive and palm trees The kasbah of AIT BEN HADDOU is famous for having been the star of internationally famous films such as ‘The Gladiator’, ‘Asterisk and Obelisk’, ‘Babel’, ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ You will have free time for sightseeing and depart after lunch for our final destination along the Thousand Kasbahs road, a route that will allow you to admire many mud and thatched constructions and small castles surrounded by palm trees.
We will make a stop in the main town of this valley, EL-KALAA-M´GOUNA, famous precisely for the blossoming of the damask rose from which many body care products are obtained We will continue on to the Bou valley
