Marrakech, known as the 'Pearl of the South', is situated at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. It was founded in 1602, when Yusuf Ibn Tashfin settled in the area which became the seat of the Almoravid dynasty, who built gardens, palaces, numerous mosques and Koranic schools (Mederse).
Marrakech grew rapidly as a religious and cultural centre; ramparts were built to protect the city, dating back to medieval times. Characterised by ARABIC-ANDALUS architecture, Marrakech manages to meet the expectations of every traveller.
We start the tour with a visit to the MEDERSA ALI BEN YOUSSEF, the SAADIAN TOMBES, the KOUTOUBIA garden, the MUSEUM OF MAROCCHIN ART and the BAHIA PALACE. After lunch in a typical restaurant, we will immerse ourselves in SOUK, in the narrow alleyways full of craftsmen who still produce splendid silver, ceramic and wrought-iron artefacts, as well as wool and leather work Finally, we head for the large JEMAA EL FNA square, the city's vital and characteristic centre.
Here, in total chaos, you will meet dancers, snake charmers, theatrical performers, storytellers; be captivated by one of the most beautiful and eclectic squares in the world, climb to the highest terrace of the Cafe de France to enjoy the beautiful sunset that is staged every day.

After breakfast we will start our journey towards the desert, a not short journey full of diversity, landscapes, emotions and unexpected encounters. We will cross the high ATLANTA mountains, arriving at the TIZI N'TICHKA pass at an altitude of 2260m, we will admire beautiful and spectacular landscapes, numerous villages built from clay and straw.
We will stop at various viewpoints and have a mint tea and then continue to the KASHBA of AIT BEN HADDOU, one of the oldest kasbahs, an imposing fortress, located on the ancient SALT ROAD, which was also used as a caravan route by the transporters who brought precious materials to Marrakech, such as ivory, copper, silver, gold, and sometimes even slaves from Saharan Africa.
Visit to the KASBAH, which has featured in many famous films such as THE GLADIATOR, ASTERIX AND OBELIX, INDIANA JONS and LAWRENCE D´ARABIA.
We have lunch in a local restaurant and continue to OUARZAZATE, known as the Hollywood of Africa because it is the home of the CINEMA STUDIOS, which you will have the opportunity to visit, where many famous films such as THE JEWEL OF THE NILE, THE MUMMY, and KING OF PERSIA were shot.
We will pass by the KASBAH TAOURIRT, on the outskirts of Ouarzazate, with its huge crenellated towers that are very well preserved.
We will then cross the VALLEY OF THE ROSES towards BOUMALNE DADES, passing by KELAA M'GOUNA, famous for the cultivation of the Damask rose.
Here every year the `rose festival` is held and it will be possible to stop and visit a BOTTEGA where you can see the processing of products made from ROSE or ARGAN oil.
We arrive in BOUMALNE DADES in the afternoon.

After breakfast we resume our route accompanied by the morning sun which illuminates the DADES VALLEY via THE ROAD OF THE THOUSAND KASBAH, known for its numerous mud and thatched constructions, with castle-like structures, which served as defences during tribal wars. All the way to the TODRA GORges.
Here we will stop for a walk, in this amazing canyon cut by a river, with heights of up to 300 metres, in a magnificent landscape.
The Todra gorges are also a climbing site; there are around 100 official routes that climbers can choose to explore the area in safety.
Stop for lunch and continue southwards.
Wonderful villages and palm tree oases will accompany us on our journey, and after about two and a half hours we will pass through ERFOUD, a town at the edge of the desert, famous for being the site of marine fossils and sweet dates We will make a stop in RISSANI, a city of historical importance which gave birth to the ALAWITI dynasty of the current kingdom of Morocco.
We stop to visit the lively SOUK and for a short visit to the MAUSOLEUM OF MOULAY ALI CHERIF with its beautiful gardens.
Another half an hour's drive and we arrive at the DESERT, MERZOUGA, where we leave the car and embark on a camel ride.
We cross the majestic orange sand dunes, stop to admire the SUNSET IN THE DESERT and after about an hour and a half arrive at our tented camp.
Here, a typical dinner with singing and drumming, and a starry sky like never before, will make for a magical night.

After a splendid sunrise over the dunes, breakfast and return to Merzouga by 4x4 car Accommodation at the hotel and a day dedicated to the discovery of the Merzouga region by jeep for a tour to the small and ancient village of HASSI LABIED, the famous OASIS of Tissrdmin, and we will take the road protagonist of the Paris-Dakar RALLY We will visit the area where the natural fossils of the desert are found, here we will find memories of a very ancient past with marine fossils, corals, shark teeth and dinosaurs We will visit a nomadic family, and the small village of KAMLIA, inhabited by less than 150 people from black Africa and known throughout the world as the cradle of Gnaoua music.

After breakfast we will resume our journey, leaving the desert to go to Fes We will stop in ERFOUD to see the working of marine fossils.
Leaving Erfoud, we will cross the ZiZ Valley full of verdant palm groves and small villages which still preserve the buildings but above all the Berber culture. Wild nature and mountains forming canyons cut by rivers will be our travelling companion until we reach Midelt, in the MIDDLE ATLAS mountains, where we will stop for lunch. Next stop AZROU, with its beautiful cedar forest populated by numerous rather sociable MACACHI without any fear of man. We will then pass by IFRANE, known as Little Switzerland MOROCCO, the only town where the houses have sloping roofs to cope with the winter snow.

A day dedicated to discovering the enchanting city of Fes accompanied by a local guide.
Fes was founded in 790 by Moulay IDRISS II, it is a city full of charm and culture and the traditional spiritual and cultural centre of Morocco.
Our guide will take you to the heart of the Medina, through narrow, 900-strong alleyways leading to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic centre.
Fes is a medieval city, you will visit the famous NEJJARINE FOUNTAIN, THE KARAOUINE MOSQUE, THE MEDERSA ATTARINE and BOU INANIA ancient Islamic religious universities.
Finally you will visit the spectacular CONCERIES from above, the view of the colourful pools will fascinate you.
Stop for lunch and afternoon dedicated to visiting the various SOUQs, full of craft shops where you will find everything from spices, perfumes, textiles and much more After the guided tour, you will have free time.

We leave early in the morning for VOLUBILIS 40 kilometres north of FES, the largest ROMAN archaeological site in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. VOLUBILIS was founded by the CARTAGINES in the 3rd century BC and subsequently dominated by the ROMANS from 40 AD.

At the end of the visit we continue our journey to CHEFCHAOUEN or CHAOUEN, perched in the heart of the RIF.
Founded in 1471, it is located in the hollow between two mountains. Hence its name ech-chaou `between horns` in the Berber language.
You will take a pleasant walk through the narrow alleyways coloured blue and indigo, a tangle of little streets where it is nice to relax and get lost, until you reach the picturesque UTA EL-HAMMAM SQUARE.

Departure for RABAT, the capital of Morocco, where we will arrive in the afternoon. Rabat is a pleasant, elegant, refined and cosmopolitan city, the political and administrative capital of the Kingdom, surrounded by superbly maintained tree-lined boulevards.
We will visit the famous and ancient KASBAH OF THE OUDAIA with its red walls, pass through the BAB EL-OUDAIA gate, an example of Almohad dynasty art.
The KASBAH has an important position from which you can admire the ocean.

Departure for CASABLANCA where we will arrive after two hours Casablanca is one of Morocco's largest cities, considered the country's industrial and economic heart.
This modern metropolis, with almost 3 million inhabitants, is home to one of the most beautiful works of art in Morocco, built in recent years by King HASSAN II, the largest MOSQUE in North Africa with the largest MINARET, 300 m in length, unique in its beauty and also unique in that it is open to Christians and Jews.
We will then visit the Mosque inside and after about 2 hours we will stop for lunch in a restaurant along the Atlantic coast.
Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
